ROAD REPORT

We just got back from the PRCA rodeo in Manawa, WI. The weather threatened rain all weekend long and so the crowds were down each performance this year, but the temperature was WONDERFUL. The crowd for cowboy church was energetic, to say the least. It’s always fun to interact with the people in the stands, and a lot of that was going on this year! We baptized again this year after the service. A mother and daughter both wanted to be baptized and came to that rodeo for the purpose of obeying God in this. What a blessing it always is to see folks have a desire to obey what God is telling them to do.

On our trip up to WI, we got to spend 2 days in my old home town, Doniphan, MO. Really, it was spent on Current River. I had spent my years growing up on that river and our sons had never even seen it. I wanted them to experience this awesome river, so we floated, fished, swam, and just had fun. It was wonderful, and I got some much needed rest and quiet.

For the first time, since I don’t remember when, Ray and I didn’t go to the PRCA rodeo at Spooner, WI, after Manawa. We came back home and furnished the sound for our own home town rodeo that is always the same weekend as Spooner. I also did a pre-rodeo concert both nights. It was kinda strange doing this in our own home town, but it was fun.

I got to minister at a women’s meeting at New Song Fellowship in Brady, TX. It was a blast. God anointed it and several women got filled with the Holy Spirit, receiving their prayer language. A sweet presence of God was upon the whole evening and all could feel it. Many women just “basked” in God’s Presence and some had to be carried out and taken to their homes because the residue of God’s Presence was still so heavy upon them. It was a refreshing that none of us wanted to end.

For those of you who are hungry for more of God------hold to your hunger!! God is drawing near! Your hunger calls to Him! Though the vision tarry----wait for it, for it will surely come! In the mean time-----
Be yielded-----be blessed!
