ROAD REPORT
Our trip to Alaska was both enjoyable and fruitful. We took some time to see the sights along the way. Alaska’s beauty is just incredibly awesome. When we flew in, they already had snow on the ground. Our kids loved it and we ALL got involved in some snowball fights. A few more people recieved salvation, but what was really a blessing to see was the church that has taken root up there! Bowdre’s house was FULL of people coming to be taught and touched by the Lord! God moved on us with a spirit of brokeness and repentance that literally swept through the house the last night we were there. It’s ESPECIALLY on the young people! Matter of fact, they have told us that now the young people are meeting together for the purpose of prayer. We were blessed to have Gary and Candy Weatherman and Dennis and Jeanie Smith come with us. Not only did it make for an even more fun trip, but we wanted them along as a ministry team. They were needed and we were very grateful they were there. The day we caught a plane for Alaska, we did the service in Waco for the ANHA finals. It’s always a pleasure to do it! We are very grateful to Steve and Kathy Thornton for their hard labor to put on such a good event that draws so many barrel racers. God moved on the audience and touched many hearts. Not only did we see a response that day, but after coming home from Alaska, we had letters from people that were in that service telling us how God had spoken to them, they were making adjustments, and their lives were getting in “correct position”. Thank God!

We took some young people with us to Rockdale, TX for the high school rodeo. They did a drama called “The Box” that they do exceptionally well and is incredibly funny and also the human video called “What Did He Die For”. The crowd was “grabbed” from the start by the drama and the human video at the end of the message had them to a place where God was touching hearts in a powerful way. People were still coming up to me crying long after the service was over. We passed out 50 New Believer series that morning to people choosing to “give their lives away” plus a lot of other ministry material that we had made up just for this event. People were wanting whatever we could get into their hands. God did move! People need to hear truth. Truth has gotten to be a rare commodity in these modern days. Truth comes with a price therefore people tend to be afraid to put it out there. But I gotta say that we are seeing more than ever, people wanting truth! Don’t be afraid to be a voice for truth! Someone around you is needing it and they will recognize it when they hear it! Be a carrier of truth! Don’t be afraid of the cost. Fear God and by His love, speak the truth! God bless you and be a torch for truth in 2005!

We were priveledged to be at Dayton Cowboy Church (Dayton, TX)
for their 1 year anniversary. It was wonderful to be with David & Wendy Hilton , our long time friends who pastor the church there, plus Kent & Missy Richard, who are also old “rodeo buddies”. Some things don’t change with time---they are still a goofy bunch!!!
