A few weeks back, we watched and cried as thousands of Israelis were evacuated from their homes. Their dead were dug up and removed from their burial places. Their homes were destroyed, and literal refugee camps were set up to facilitate the displaced Jews. One week later, we watched and cried again, as thousands of Americans were evacuated from their homes. Caskets seen floating by as their dead were uprooted, and their homes were totally destroyed. Thousands of displaced Americans were moved to places like the Astro-Dome in Houston to become makeshift “refugee camps”. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

EVERY TIME ISRAEL
STANDS TO FIGHT -
GOD GIVES HER
MIRACULOUS VICTORIES

God strictly told the people of Israel that they were not to make any covenant with the inhabitants of the land, but were to drive them from their borders. (Ex.34:10-15) He has stated that their borders were marked by Himself, and the land was His, and wasn’t to be sold or debated over. Yet, this seems to be the policy that Israel continues to embrace, seeking to make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land. Every time Israel stands to fight..God gives her miraculous victories. You ought to read about them sometime. They are absolutely astounding! In 1967, seven Arabic nations mobilized on three fronts. When the dust settled, Israel not only totally defeated ALL her enemies, but also gained an incredible 28,000 sq. miles of land; land gained that is, until Israel sits down at the “peace” tables and gives it away. Every time Israel fights..she wins. Every time she sits down at some “peace table”, she loses another “piece” of her land..and America loses also.

Joel 3 is only one of the places in scripture that refers to judgement that will come upon any nation that is involved in parting Israel’s land. America is the number one nation involved in pressuring Israel to give up land for “peace”. Just a casual glimpse of the dates that America was involved in “peace talks” between Israel and her Arab enemies, and the coinciding storms and natural catastrophes that resulted, is enough to raise an eyebrow on the most hardened skeptic. Take a look at just a FEW examples:

October 30, 1991: The Perfect Storm - As President George H. W. Bush is opening the Madrid (Spain) Conference to consider “land for peace” in Israel’s Middle East role, the “perfect storm” develops in the North Atlantic, creating the largest waves ever recorded in that region. The storm travels 1000 miles from “east to west” instead of the normal “west to east” pattern and crashes into the New England Coast. Thirty-five foot waves crash into the Kennebunkport home of President Bush.

August 23, 1992: Hurricane Andrew - When the Madrid Conference moves to Washington D.C., and the peace talks resume, Hurricane Andrew, the worst natural disaster ever to hit America, comes ashore and produces an estimated $30 billion in damage, and leaving 180,000 homeless in Florida.

January 16, 1994: Northridge Earthquake - President Bill Clinton meets with Syria’s President Hafez el-Assad in Geneva. They talk about a peace agreement with Israel, that includes giving up the Golan Heights. Within 24 hours, a powerful 6.9 earthquake rocks Southern California. This quake, centered in Northridge, becomes the second most destructive natural disaster to hit the United States, behind Hurricane Andrew.

September 28, 1998: Hurricane George - As Secretary of State Albright works on the final details of an agreement in which Israel would give up 13 percent of Yesha (Judah and Samaria), Hurricane George slams into the United States Gulf Coast with 110 mph winds and gusts up to 175 mph. The hurricane hits the coast and stalled. On September 28, Clinton meets with Yasser Arafat and Netanyahu at the White House to finalize this land deal. Later, Arafat addresses the United Nations about declaring an independent Palestinian state by May 1999, as Hurricane George pounds the Gulf Coast, causing $1 billion in damage. At the exact time that Arafat departs the country, the storm begins to dissipate.

October 15-22, 1998: Texas Flooded - On October 15, 1998, Arafat and Netanyahu meet at the Wye River Plantation in Maryland. The talks are scheduled to last five days, with the focus on Israel giving up 13 percent of Yesha. The talks are extended and conclude on October 23. On October 17, awesome rains and tornadoes hit southern Texas. The San Antonio area is deluged with rain. The rain and flooding in Texas continued until October 22 and then subsided. The floods ravage 25 percent of Texas and leave over $1 billion in damage. On October 21, Clinton declares this section of Texas a major disaster area.

These are only a FEW of the dates recorded. You can read more information on this subject in the book, “Israel - The Blessing Or The Curse” by John McTernan and Bill Koenig. But by far, the most devastating up to this point is hurricane Katrina and the parallels are uncanny! Is God wanting to get America’s attention? I think so.

...WHEN ISRAEL SITS DOWN AT
SOME "EACE TABLES," SHE
LOSES ANOTHER "PIECE" OF HER LAND...
AND AMERICA LOSES ALSO

Zephaniah 2 gives a chillingly accurate prophecy of what we watched just weeks ago in Israel: the uprooting of Israel’s people from the Gaza strip. Verse 4 tells us Gaza shall be forsaken and names towns in the Gaza strip that shall be uprooted. Uprooted means something was planted there and got pulled up. God goes on to say, woe unto the people coming in to inhabit the seacoast. The sword of the Lord will be unleashed upon the nations around Israel and upon the Palestinians coming in to inhabit the land that God gave to His people, Israel, because they “magnified themselves against their (Israel’s) border”. (Verse 8)

MORE NATURAL DISASTERS
AND CATASTROPHIC EVENTS
WILL OCCUR

What does this mean to America? It simply means that more natural disasters and catastrophic events will occur as long as America insists on appeasing the enemies of Israel, instead of allowing Israel to fight for the land that has been given to her by God. The Lord’s anger is being unleashed. What do we do? Will our policy change? Probably not. God tells us in this 2nd chapter of Zephaniah what to do.

Zephaniah 2: 2) Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord’s anger come upon you. 3) Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger.

Benny Hinn just lately told of a vision he had of terrible, catastrophic disasters that were speedily coming upon America. He told of this several weeks before Katrina hit our southern coast. He said the Lord told him that only those whose heart was truly seeking the Lord and seeking after holiness would be protected. That could answer the question, “why New Orleans?” If encouraging the parting of Israel’s land is going to bring disasters upon us, would it not make sense that the areas hardest hit would be areas where sin abounds? This does in no way
imply that all “good” people will be kept from harm and only the wicked will suffer. Not at all, but the ONLY place of strength and stability no matter what comes our way, is in knowing Him intimately. That kind of relationship with the Lord is only developed as we humbly seek to live a lifestyle of obeying Him in all things.

THE LORD'S ANGER IS
BEING UNLEASHED

Meekness, holiness, and repentance are our greatest defense and are exactly what God said in Zeph. 2:2&3. A wonderful testimony to this is Jesse Duplantis multi-million dollar ministry facility that is in New Orleans was not damaged, but was protected by God and is in use at a time that it is desperately needed! Gaza has been forsaken and given over to an enemy exactly like Zeph. 2 prophesied. We are here folks! This has JUST HAPPENED, followed by Katrina the very next week. Do I write this to alarm you? No, though it is alarming. But to be forewarned is to be forearmed. God has warned us, many times in His Word. His prophets are crying out for the people of God to repent of their sins and seek holiness because of the catastrophes that are coming upon our land. God wants His own protected. He wants to cover His people but it will require us seeking Him. God has made a way; “seek righteousness, seek meekness, it may be that you shall be hid in the day
of the Lord’s anger.”
