It’s been awhile since our last newsletter. We are now going to go to a quarterly newsletter instead of a bi-monthly one. Much has happened since I last wrote. The service at the Manawa, WI rodeo went well. Many responded to the Lord as He moved on their heart to do so. We baptized 3 people in the stock tank afterward and as always, that is a blessing to get to do and see. After Manawa, we headed for Hamel, MN for their PRCA rodeo. It was the first time to do a service there and none of us knew what to expect. Ray and I were amazed, actually at the size of the crowd for a “first time” service. There were probably 75 people who attended, but MOST IMPORTANTLY---GOD showed up. There was a “sweet spirit” upon it and hearts were obviously touched and ministered to. God broke through some “walls” within people’s hearts and I thank Him so for that!

The next event we did was the Larimer Co. Fair and Rodeo in Loveland, CO. God put a burden on my heart to minister on a prophetic event that was at that time approaching---the evacuation of the Gaza strip in Israel. I don’t normally minister at rodeo services on prophetic events that are yet to occur. But God wouldn’t let me “off the hook”, so I did it in fear and trembling. God anointed it wonderfully and people were noticeably touched and moved on by the Holy Spirit. We passed out 88 Bibles that morning. By the way, you can order the recording of that message on CD for $5.00 as a single, or you can order the entire series, “Gaza Forsaken” and that single is included in the series. It should be “required information” to all believers for this day. If any of you have lost friends or loved ones, who you have not yet been able to reach----the CD from the service at the Loveland rodeo is what you need to get for them. It’s powerful and very evangelistic, and it was ministered BEFORE the Gaza strip evacuation and Katrina following. That makes people think about the “signs of the times” and their relationship (or lack of) to God, when they hear of something foretold in the Bible and then actually SEE it come to pass! My young black horse did wonderfully at these rodeos. He took to it great. Matter of fact, I ended up selling him to a friend of ours, who saw me perform on him at Loveland, and is now using him to sing off of at the Mesquite Rodeo every week. Dave loves him and I couldn’t be happier that “Black” has a good home and is doing something he fully enjoys on a regular basis.

We have purchased a new 34ft. Jayco motor home and are putting our bus up for sale. Even though this is a “smaller” rig than our Eagle bus, the slide-outs give us so much more room, along with several wonderful conviences that come with a new rig, including a 7 year warrantee. I am excited about traveling in it on our next trip.

As I close this out, let me encourage you to seek the Lord diligently. These are days that will “test our metal” so to speak. Our strength must be in the Lord and not in ourselves. Much more is ahead----dangerous times are upon us. Be rooted and grounded deeply in the Lord, for that is the only thing that will withstand that which is yet to come.
