An incident happened to Tasha, our secretary, and the Spirit of God spoke to my heart telling me to “pay attention and hear what I’m saying through this.” The first incident happened around midnight one night. Tasha had just come in from a late night jog and was taking out the trash when the door of her house closed behind her, locking itself, leaving her locked out of her own house. Here she is, tired and sweaty, needing a bath and some rest; it’s too late to call anyone at this time of night, so she is forced to sleep in the church van parked at her house. It was a miserable night. She contacted the landlord the next morning, got another set of keys and got back in. The next day or so when leaving the office for lunch, she locked the doors as always, not realizing till later that she had left the office keys inside. She was then forced to find me, get another set of keys to get back into the office to resume work. Once God got my attention, He began to speak to me about this being a picture of what is about to happen to the unsuspecting body of Christ.

Foundational Understanding
Let me first build a foundation from which to explain and relate the interpretation. When God placed Adam and Eve in the garden, He gave them total authority over the earth. He told them to watch over it and “keep” it. That word means to protect and guard. Adam knew what God meant. There was an adversary loose, and it was Adam’s responsibility to guard what he was given authority over. Adam was given the “keys” to planet earth. With those keys come authority from on high. We all know what happened, and the “keys” were given over to Satan. Until that time, there was no sickness, death, greed, fear, hatred, pain---etc., etc.---in planet earth and among God’s grandest creation - mankind. All that was changed. Satan was handed the “keys,” and man was locked out of his own domain!
A MAN LOST THE KEYS -
SO IT HAD TO BE A MAN
WHO GOT THEM BACK!

When Jesus came to earth, clothed in flesh, He was all God and all man, but He laid aside His deity and walked as a man upon the earth. He often said, “In myself I can do nothing” - “I only do what I see the Father do” - “It is the Father that does the works.” Jesus did not operate in His deity when He walked among men. He operated as the “Son of man.” A MAN had lost the keys so it had to be a MAN who got them back! God had given the “keys” to man---only a man could recover them! We MUST understand this or we will never believe God and step out in faith to do what God has commanded us to do! Why? Because we will think, “Jesus could heal because He was God.” Meaning: “Therefore I can’t because I’m human.” “Jesus could SPEAK and heaven’s authority would be released in a situation because He was God.” (Therefore I cannot) The fact is, JESUS IN HIMSELF COULDN’T HEAL ANYONE, NOR COULD HE WORK ONE MIRACLE! Jesus said He could do NOTHING except what the Father did through Him! Why? Because that is the standing WE have in the Father and He took on our identity! Like Tyger pointed out in his essay, “Theological Theory of Leadership” in the last newsletter, Jesus is our “tactical Leader;” He leads WITH His men, on OUR level. What He did, He did as a MAN. Therefore WE can do what Jesus did IF we follow His leading. Didn’t Jesus say, “Greater works than these shall YOU do because I go unto My Father which is in heaven”? (John 14:10-12) “All power has been given unto Me---therefore YOU go---cast out devils, heal the sick…..” (Matt. 28:18-20 & Mark 16:15-18) Verse 20 of Mark 16 goes on to say: “And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the WORD with signs following.” Miracles!….done at the hands of normal human beings! How? Because a MAN had gotten back the “keys!” We’re not locked out of our own house anymore! He hasn’t left us “orphans” and defenseless in a world darkened with Satan’s influence! He gave us back the keys of the kingdom, and Jesus Christ Who is the same yesterday, today and forever, is still with His army…leading! (Matt.16:18-19 and Heb. 13:8)

WHAT ARE WE DOING
WITH THEM?
 
   
He has given us the keys! What are we doing with them? Why are we waiting for God to do something that He is not going to do without our involvement? We want to just stand back at a “safe” distance, take no risks, and hope that God shows up and works miracles “some day.” It’s not going to happen until we become willing to risk our reputation, get out of our comfort zone, and get closely involved with our “tactical Leader,”
the Lord, Jesus Christ!
 
   


WE ARE CALLED OF GOD TO THINK, SEE, SPEAK, AND
OPERATE FROM HEAVEN’S
PERSPECTIVE....

In Matt. 16 when Jesus said He had given
us the keys of the kingdom, it was in the context of Peter receiving revelation knowledge from the Spirit of God. Jesus then said that from that position - taking on heaven’s thoughts - whatever we bound was what Heaven bound, whatever we loosed was what Heaven loosed. In other words, HEAVEN IS THE STANDARD BY WHICH WE ARE TO OPERATE HERE! Remember how Jesus told us to pray? “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” We are called of God to think, see, speak, and operate from heaven’s perspective, then act from that position accordingly. Once we know God’s will in a matter, we are to “declare” it…that is, speak and declare over a situation what GOD says about it! We are citizens of Heaven, but we live on earth…we are to learn to operate from Heaven’s realm while we live here! To do that we will have to spend time communing with the Spirit of God, reading God’s word, and learning to discern the Spirit’s voice. As we grow in this, we may find that what we’ve been praying and asking God to do is not being done. It could very well be because God is waiting on us to stop asking God to do it and begin to DECREE His will over the situation! God is calling us to maturity. When children are little, you have to do everything for them. When they grow to be young adults, if you continue doing everything for them, you actually cripple them. It’s the same with God and us. While we are spiritually immature, God often lavishes answered prayer on us. As we grow, God wants US to operate like He would in the flesh. We are CO-LABORERS with Christ Jesus. (1Cor. 3:9 and IICor. 6:1) We are called to release into the earth HIS will, HIS desires, HIS power…and that is done by SPEAKING what God desires over a situation, a person, a region, a marriage, etc. We have a command from the Lord to use the keys of the kingdom…a mandate from heaven to destroy the works of the Devil! What are we doing with those keys? All of heaven is waiting for us to hear from heaven and release it onto the earth!

GOD’S GOVERNMENT IS ABOUT TO HIT PLANET EARTH
WITH TIDAL WAVE FORCE!

 
   
These 2 events are one message. I believe God is giving us a warning. A shocking event is about to take place suddenly…and soon. God’s way of doing things - His government is about to hit planet earth with tidal wave force. Those seeking to operate according to Heaven’s principles will find themselves walking in greater power and authority than ever thought possible! Those who don’t even know “where they’ve laid the keys” will find themselves locked out and unable to do anything.
  
   
Just as Tasha had full access to move with authority in both realms, (private and business) but found herself locked out of her own domain…..Suddenly and unexpectedly…we who possess the keys to the kingdom may find ourselves “on the outside looking in” if we don’t take hold of those keys and begin to USE them!

OUR THOUGHTS WILL BE INFLUENCED BY HIS THOUGHTS,
AND HE WILL DIRECT THE USE OF THE KEYS.

When we have a set of keys, our head knows what to do with them but it’s the body that handles them and does with them what the head says to do. WE are the body of Christ and HE is our Head. THE HEAD IS NOT GOING TO HANDLE THE KEYS! The body is equipped for that. If we will spend time seeking the Lord, learning to hear His thoughts, He will direct our steps to be conformable to His ways. Our thoughts will be influenced by His thoughts and He will direct the use of the keys.
But you and I have to be willing to hear His voice and get involved!
