The
trip up north for the 17th annual trail ride in Caroline, WI and
the Horse Expo in Marshfield, WI were both fun to do. I was not
prepared for the expanse of camps, horses, and rigs that literally
spanned the horizon in all directions. When we pulled up over the
hill to Caroline, it looked like a huge army camped for as far as
you could see. We had an enthusiastic audience for the church service.
People responded to God as He broke through individual resistance
and touched hearts. It was a joy to be there.
The following week we did another “first time” church
service at the Horse Expo. The committee that puts it on was a pleasure
to work with. It was a rather chilly morning but we still had a
good crowd. Much more material was given out as people responded
to the message. I left there feeling like so much more should have
been done but seemed to be incapable of doing it. It’s times
like that you just have to leave it with God.
Speaking at the annual women’s conference in Sonora, TX was
a total blast to do! That place was full of women hungry for more
of God! Their hunger and excitement literally PULLED it out of you.
That’s when ministry is as easy as “falling off a log
backwards”, as my mother used to say. Another place that was
easy to minister was West TX Church at the Barn in Lubbock, with
pastors Ted and Jan Currington. They were an eager bunch of folks
to receive the Word and it was energizing to minister there.
We thoroughly enjoyed traveling in the Jayco, the new motor home.
Wow, so many little conviences and it was thoroughly restful to
travel in! We are thrilled with the way it handles the load we pull,
plus giving us so much living space when we are parked and set up.
This new year is one that may prove to be an exciting one to say
the least! Take great care to be WHERE God has called you, doing
WHAT God has decreed for you to do. “Hap-hazard” living
is something a child of God can no longer afford. He is pouring
out a warrior spirit upon His faithful. May we do as He commands
and walk with a “fierce grace” that comes from His presence
alone.
God’s Blessings,
Ray, Crystal, Tyger & Colt
